Troodos mountains are one of my favorite places on this planet. Of course, I am biased since this place is home.
Yet these mountains are full of mystery for any geologist, and that may be why I can not stop being amazed by them.
Since my childhood, Troodos was this majestic place with pine trees, rivers, and smiling people.
I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery— air, mountains, trees, people. I thought, “This is what it is to be happy".

Nevertheless, these mountains are attracting visitors from all over the world.
Hence, it is a popular destination because of the beautiful landscape, but also the local traditions.
If you are ever looking for a great adventure, the Troodos mountains will be waiting for you to explore them.
Mountains know secrets we need to learn. That it might take time, it might be hard, but if you just hold on long enough, you will find the strength to rise up.
