Women’s day is an international celebration of women that came before us and made progress on our human rights.
But there are still many things to achieve for those that will come afterward. Because gender equality is not a reality anywhere in the world.
In this constant effort of all women to become equal to men in all aspects in life, it is useful to celebrate each other.
Feminism isn’t about making women strong. Women are already strong. It’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.
G.D. Anderson
So this year’s International Women’s Day, Her Impact is celebrating the women that accepted our invitation to be interviewed.
In the past two years, five women have shared with us their stories that inspired us on what we can achieve in science.
Yet they motivated us with their words of wisdom to look for opportunities, even if there are almost none.
Sometimes it’s the princess who kills the dragon and saves the prince.
Samuel Lowe
Thus, this episode is a collection of clips from the interview of the five women featured on Her Impact.
By revisiting their words, we would like to thank them for being on the show and celebrate with them their achievements.
And maybe we can take a bit of courage to continue our own battle during this pandemic with the hope that finally, things will be fine.
