DEATH AND DYING: WHAT SCIENCE SAYS ABOUT THE END OF LIFE

Death is our first fear in life because it is the unknown end of everything and everyone we have close to us.

However, human curiosity led science to attempt the unthinkable: to reveal the afterlife.

For decades, scientists from different scientific societies have been trying to discover what happens to us, body and soul, when we die.

The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there’s no risk of accident for someone who’s dead.

Albert Einstein

For many researchers, this scientific challenge has logical reasoning for learning the next phase of dying.

For example, research is being carried out to find out how our bodies change after death. This is, after all, the main purpose of forensics: to solve horrific crimes.

But the greatest challenge for humanity is to discover where the spirit travels when we are gone from this life.

One can survive everything nowadays, except death, and live down everything, except a good reputation.

Oscar Wilde

In this episode, we are taking a journey into death science and its findings. Learn with us the unknown truth about being after death.

Even if we still have so many unanswered questions about what happens in the next chapter of what we call ‘life’, science is still making progress.

And why not, maybe one day we will know what will happen after we depart from this short trip on Earth.
