Women in tech are facing big challenges because of workplace biases. But the industry is working hard to change it.
Recently I was at the Web Summit conference, one of the biggest for the tech industry and the future looks promising for women.
Nearly all companies understand the importance of including women in tech. Hence they all promoting women, even the organizers.
Coding is the language of the future, and every girl should learn it. As I've learned from watching girls grow and learn in our classrooms, coding is fun, collaborative and creative.

But still, there is so much that the industry needs to do for women to feel safe and included.
Education, education, education is how we will reach gender equality in the workplace, in the tech industry.
Hence we need to fight bias against women in tech. And there are many ways to do so.
In fact, the Lean In initiative ‘50 ways to fight bias‘ is a great start in your organization. Just follow each step and you will learn what is actually bias for women in the workplace.
I've never thought of myself as a female engineer or founder or a woman in tech. I just think of myself as someone who's passionate.
